If, like me, you quite liked the Twilight movie in a teenage fangirly way, but wished that Bella had been a little less passive and mumbly and more kick-ass, then you're in for a treat.

Guess what I saw on the pavement the other day. WHITE DOG POO! "Good lord," thought I. "I know there's a 1980s revival going on, but some people are really taking it TOO FAR!"
But I was wrong. The white dog poo artists (that's what they are, let me believe it, don't spoil it for me) weren't going far enough - as this fabulous video shows.
It "mashes up" (that's a very futuristic term, isn't it? I might try using it again, after I've partied like it's 1999) dance footage from seminal 1980s bratpack movies Footloose, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club and Mannequin and puts it all to the lovely strains of Lisztomania by Phoenix.
Hurrah for the 1980s! Now, make me a SodaStream, would you? I've got to finish this Rubik's Cube and iron my ra-ra skirt before Miami Vice comes on.
Dollhouse, the new series from Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon, premieres in the UK on Tuesday 19th May, on the Sci-Fi Channel.
Complex, dark and witty, it stars ex-vampire slayer Eliza Dushku (Faith from Buffy), and raises questions about identity, morality and technology (and - this being a Joss Whedon show - there's no shortage of ass-kicking ladies, either).

So-this could be genius, or it could be madness (it all depends on how much wine I drink whilst I'm doing it), but (by popular demand) I shall be liveblogging the Thursday extended episode of Masterchef this evening.
According to the BBC's website, tonight is the final Quarter-Final which means this is the last time we're going to be able to see rank amateurs attempt to poison top chef and restaurateur John Torode, and vegetable guru Gregg Wallace with a raw chicken and quinoa surprise.

Now, I don't know how you ring in the festive season, but Christmas doesn't really start in this house until I'm propped up on the sofa, nursing a hangover, wearing my pajamas, scarfing down a breakfast of coffee and liqueur chocolates, and watching some mawkish made-for-TV movie.
So I've taken a look at the terrestrial TV schedule for the holiday and compiled my top 10 cheesy Christmas TV movie recommendations for 2008/9 just for you lucky Dollymixers (I know, I know, weeth my movies I am spoileeng you). Check 'em out after the jump!
Today is my last day on Dollymix, so I've done a little goodbye video. It's very short and quite silly.

Yesterday I joined a long line of Shiny Media alumni and people I slightly know and appeared on Sky News to talk about 'news from the internet'. You can read all about it here, and watch the clip over the page. Go easy on me, it was my first time on telly!
Watch out, kids, a new internet phenomenon is sweeping through the wonderweb, leaving naked video bloggers sprawling in its path. The Naked Vlog Campaign, started by YouTuber user Chris3ff has even reached these chilly shores, with UK video bloggers tagging each other in a bid to spread the naked video blogging craze. Even Stylist Brighton has got in on the craze. The lovely Jane is a Shiny Media favourite because she was runner up in our Media Talent Award competition to find a new Shiny video presenter. Who knew we'd get to know her *this* intimately.
