Zooey Deschanel's New Girl is without a doubt the most opinion-dividing TV show of the moment. Eagerly awaited by the quirky star's loyal fan-base, it has been well received in the US but still seems to be finding its feet with British viewers. Fans of Deschanel love the show to bits, seeing it as fun, harmless and highly watchable entertainment, while others were so irritated by the star's manic, kooky singing to make it to the end of episode one.
