I'm really very excited about the release of One Day this summer at the cinema. I'm usually in the smug 'I read the book before the film and the book is so much better yah' group when it comes to film adaptations (have you seen what they did to the ending in My Sister's Keeper?). But the trailer suggests they've kept quite true to the original story.

Not entirely convinced by Anne Hathaway's accent though.

One Day is basically a story that takes place over twenty years of Dextar Mayhew and Emma Morley's lives. We revisit them on the anniversary of their first meeting each year, and observe how their relationship grows.

Check out the trailer below. It's a little bit of a sobfest.

Will you be watching One Day this summer?
