Talk, and development, of the male pill has gone on for some time now, and the pill is now at trial stage on humans. But would you trust a partner to take the pill?
It seems that the majority of us ladies, 52%, are concerned that our men wouldn't take the pill every day. Only 17% trusted their man to take the pill responsibly. This has led to one in five claiming they wouldn't use it, and 31% are unsure.
One female respondent said 'I think that women are better at remembering these things. Women tend to worry more about the fact that they could potentially get pregnant.'
The survey by Researcher Susan Walker, senior lecturer in sexual health at Anglia Ruskin University, also looked at the male perspective on this new pill. Of the men asked, one in sex felt that taking the male pill was an unmanly thing to do.
What do you think? Would you trust your man to take the male pill?
