The magical internets allow me to indulge a fancy for trashy daytime TV of the American variety, which is so much better than our own. Take The View, which is essentially Loose Women on steroids, but without the "EH GIRLS?!" factor and with heated political discussion. It Is Good.
And why, readers, am I bringing this up now? Because as well as all that Palin-ing, last weekend's Saturday Night Live did a spot-on View spoof which was nearly as funny as its Sex & The City one.
