Tarina Tarantino is officially my new favourite lady designer. After last week's Barbie excitement I thought nothing could make me more giddy. Until this:

Bright Pink Barbie! God I'm good to you. I really hope the newly announced human Barbie catwalk collection looks like this, otherwise it'll be creepy.

Love! Worth every penny of the $82 she'll cost me. I really want pink hair now.

You're right, Tara. It's not so revolutionary and extreme. But that's exactly why I like it and why I think it works so well. Tarina Tarantino has managed to create a modern Barbie, in her own style, without having to resort to extremes.

I spotted this a while ago and wanted to share it. I love the green vintage looking dress too - Barbie's dresses don't usually look that hot.

Is this really so revolutionary? She's still completely out of proportion and wearing the same outfits that she always has - just with pink hair which isn't exactly polar opposite to the cutesy sickly image that Barbie had with blonde hair.

There's actually a Barbie store in Tokyo which has an adults fashion range in there. I'm guessing that it will probably look something like the clothes stocked there?

I'm strangely tempted by the doll... it has to be the pink hair!
