The superb Hadley Freeman interestingly interviews the irrepressible (trust me, I've tried) Gok Wan over in the Guardian today. Is his success all down to language? In his own words: "I think the language gay men use can put women at ease quicker - the overuse of 'darling', 'sweetheart', all the new words for breasts - it helps break down barriers quicker."
A couple in Belgium have had their entire wedding (guests are well) hanging from a crane...then bungee jump off.
Two stars in The Times for Sarah Silverman's hotly-anticipated live show. Oh dear. Generally a good review though, oddly. Although the reporter (like everyone) is miffed the show topped out at 45 minutes. This line made the most sense "Without more of a moral backdrop, all this saying the unsayable can play as facetiousness sent to college" but I can't help but feel a bit defensive of her. It sounds like it was a pretty good show, on the whole.
And would you get a botox boob-jab? It sounds like a punishment, but it's actually a form of breast enhancement. It's over-hyped and over here, according to The Independent.
