While idly perusing the web today I came across the delicious-looking site, Bygonesweets.co.uk. Since we all have happy memories of skipping down the corner shop to get a '10p mix' (and for many of us it was our first experience of shoplifting - which Dollymix does not condone), and since we can't have the name we do without occasionally featuring sweets-related content, we decided it was high time we had a mouthwatering gallery of memory lane confectionery. Many of them have remained reassuringly immune to the effects of inflation... a tempting alternative dessert option for your next dinner party perhaps? The credit crunch has never been so tasty. Enjoy!

Flying Saucers. These little rice-paper pouches melted on your tongue to release a shot of sherbert so sour it could paralyse your face. God, just thinking about it is making my jaw seize up.
