Dolly Poll: Would you sell your eggs?

It's not the first time we've touched on this subject here at Dollymix, but these are tough times, and anything that looks like it might keep the wolf from the door is worth a mention. Egg donations are on the rise, it's being reported, (also here, and here)... One mother of two has made $30,000 just by flogging hers: "It makes it so I'm not working 40 hours a week," said Bush. "It's given me hope that I can actually do the parenting and do the schooling, and still be home and be doing great things and actually watching my kids be raised."

In the US, women can earn $7,000 per donation, and of course it's not that straightfoward - it takes a while, you have to take side-effect inducing fertility drugs - and there are risks. But does it beat working? The optimum age for donating is between 21 and 29 - and of course you might just help a couple who can't conceive. So Dollymixers, what are you waiting for?
