Dolly Poll: what do you think of high heels for infants?
Bitch magazine was there first with the news that two Seattle 'moms' have developed plastic high heels for infants 0-6 months old and they've called the enterprise Heelarious. "The hollow heels collapse if they are stepped on, and are meant for infants too young to even crawl." So is this some kind of warped sexualisation, in the same vein as pageants for toddlers? Or is it just a kind of (weird, tacky) fun to make babies seem more entertaining - nothing to do with sex, and no more or less unsettling than, say, those hats for kids with bear ears on them or Anne Geddes?
