But his new show has kicked off and Dollymix would really like to know your thoughts on the guy, especially in the light of this Amanda Platell article about his new show which she says "makes you wonder how it is that a gay man can strip women's clothes off and fondle their breasts before the 9pm watershed and it's somehow OK. All I gathered from that article is that Amanda Platell thinks breast are offensive nudity, tattoos and piercings are ugly and that anyone over a size 8 should be kept indoors lest anyone dare chance a glance upon their hideous fatty fleshy form...
The whole ethos I infer from Gok Wan is that sure, well fitting clothes and makeup help but to truly be beautiful as opposed to presenting a mask is to be comfortable with what you are and what you have. Which surely is a good message to send out?!
As for the bosom grabbing, I've never had a gay friend that's not had a squeeze at some point! It all has to be taken in context.
