Wednesday news: Carla Bruni, fashion week, WWII, house swapping, autocuties

The Second World War was as tough on women and children as it was on the troops, according to this article.

Autocuties don't have to be female. The 'himbos' don't have the right to sit there and read the news either, apparently, unless they're 'qualified'...? As Stephen Armstrong writes: "Is it necessary to have stared death in the face - or at least been escorted near death's face by Nato troops - to report on the collapse of Lehman Brothers?"

...and we're all looking for cheap holidays, why not just do a house swap next time? Especially if you, like this family have the weirdest, most wonderful house. Like, ever.
