As Wax explains in an interview this week, her mother was obsessed with straight lines.
"My mother was depressed but would never go to a doctor... I didn't know she was crazy. All I knew at the time was that it was good material."

Comedian Jon Richardson will compere the gigs - and the 'friends' of the title will include Lucy Porter (who has had depression) and Greg Davies - who'll be talking about hhis midlife crisis. Jon Richardson suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder and believes, for him at least, "There is some connection between controlling an audience and wanting to be in control of the world."
