Fight domestic violence... by buying make-up!

friends1.jpgSeriously, this is great. The Body Shop has teamed up with Women's Aid for the fourth year running and is launching the 'Stop Violence in the Home' campaign to increase awareness, and raise funds for the national domestic violence charity.

The Body Shop's survey found that 59% of women are likely to confide in a friend if affected by domestic violence. Which is why this year's 'Stop Violence In The Home' campaign focuses on friendship - be vigilant and look after your buddies is the message, basically.

So how can we help, by buying make-up? Hmm?

Well, The Body Shop is raising funds for Women's Aid with the, 'For You, For Me' Shea Lip Care Stick Duo: RRP: £7.00.

With every Lip Care Duo sold, £4.80 goes directly to Women's Aid, but you'll also be helping a community in Ghana, as the shea butter from the Lip Care Stick is sourced through the unique Community Trade programme.

You can find out more here, learn about Women's Aid here, and join the Facebook group here.
