Dolly Poll: what do you think of Calendar Girls?

News has reached us that there's going to be a West End version of Calendar Girls, and that news has come accompanied with pictures...

As in the 2003 Helen Mirren film, there will be no full frontal nudity in the play, with a combination of strategically placed cakes, aprons, bread bins and "other kitchen essentials" obscuring the vitals. The play stars Oxo lady (and James Herriott's wife from All Creatures Great and Small! Everyone forgets that) Lynda Bellingham, Patricia Hodge and Sian Phillips and it opens Chichester Festival Theatre on 16 September and goes on a nationwide tour before reaching the West End.
