All right-thinking women love dogs, don't they? And all slightly-wrong (IN A GOOD WAY) people love the delicious motion a dog's dangly ears make as they scamper about. Which is why Dollymix feels the need to share with you news of this extraordinary Julie Freeman project about mapping the motion of a dogs' ears and turning the wave forms into music.
I know it looks like insane scrawlings of a mentally ill person, but the more you think about it, the cleverer it is. And it works on so many levels. The site was built on the model of a porn site, but with 'dogs' to chat to (it is as good as it sounds), and is one of the silliest, cutest things you'll ever see. Be a 'patron' and support the project, and you'll have the dubious honour of becoming co-owner of the "Dogs' Ear-Music-Extraction System." Oh - just visit the damn site. I can tell I'm not doing it justice.
