The End: What I've learned about women while writing for Dollymix

Rosie The Riviter Today is officially my last day writing for Dollymix. It's been over a year since we first launched, and I wish nothing but the best to all you Dollymix readers out there. May you always despise the sexist bastards out there as much as I do. For my last column, I thought I would share with you some of the little pearls of wisdom I've learned during my year of stimulating your lady-brains with my thought-candy:

-Women actually agree with each other more than you think

There have been times where I've gone to write a bitter column about friend problems or just ranting about certain things going on in the media, and I thought that I would surely step on someone's toes or piss someone off. However, more often then not, I'm met with agreement from our lovely reader. When it comes to female equality, it seems that there more women who are willing to be apart of an equal, sane sisterhood than I originally though.

-However, some feminists really hate other *feminists*

After my first (and probably last) feminism conference, I learned that not all of The Sisterhood likes one another. In fact, there seems to be a distinct club of feminist and feminist bloggers who like to stick together and stick up their nose at the rest of us. Whether it's because we don't hate porn, don't like using the label Feminist, or enjoy wearing makeup - some of us just don't fit in The Good Feminist Club.

-Women can be just as harsh as men when it comes to Internet Trolling.

-Dollymix readers are still mesmerized by The Pink Patch and/or are desperate to find out how to cancel it.

-Finding out your actual bra size is extremely important!

-Feminists really, really hate The Daily Mail

Whether you're reading The Lipster, Jezebel, The F Word, Dollymix or Feministing we all seem to have one thing in common: We fucking hate The Daily Mail. Whether it's personal, or just a causal observation, there's no denying that Femail not only hates women, but really has no clue what women are interested in. That include other women's cellulite.
