Now, I've said some bitchy things about Lily Allen in the past, which I've apologized for. (Because, you know, she must read Dollymix.) But I really, really like the girl. I think she's feisty, audacious and isn't afraid to make mistakes. However, there seems to be one person out there who really, really hates Lily: Perez Hilton. Since Lily's tragic miscarriage earlier this year, Hilton has done nothing but point out what a "train wreck" Lily is, and even hinted that her smoking and drinking during her pregnancy was the true reason behind her miscarriage.
However, not being one to just let the media walk all over her, Lily wrote a response to Perez Hilton, defending her alleged rivalry with Katy Perry. In her blog post, Lily insisted that "I've got nothing against Perez personally" but that "it's not fair to say that I'm washed up and it's not fair to make up these feuds between people". In response, Perez called her a liar and an idiot. Nice, huh?
Lily pointed out how Perez "bullies young, successful females", and in return Hilton ripped her blog post to shreds, calling her a liar over and over again and posting pictures of when she met Katy Perry. Lily shot back with a bunch of Photoshopped photos of Perez and insisted that she's not lying, etc, etc.
Obviously, Perez Hilton does not like people attacking him or altering his image or fighting back, so decided to call her an idiot instead:
"You're obviously an idiot! How could you not know that your U.S. label, Capitol Records, has an office in Los Angeles???? In fact, their building is one of the most iconic structures in Hollywood! Did we also mention that you're a liar?
We had the pleasure of meeting you at the Brit Awards two years ago and you were so drunk you could barely speak...
Blame it on the booze, sweetie. That must be your motto in life!
Shouldn't you be doing more productive things than blogging about Perez??? Don't you have a new album to record??? Naw, you're too busy pAArtying it up at the Chateau Marmont. We look forward to reporting your trip to rehab in a few month."
Nice, huh? Hopefully Lily won't even respond to that ridiculous attack, as clearly, she can't win and it's not worth it. I've been reading Perez Hilton for a long time, and have tried to over look his ego, his annoying personality, and just enjoy his website. At times it is hilarious, but it's times like this when I just want to stop reading it.
He's incredibly overly critical of women's bodies, says horrible things about their children and wastes time attacking young women who dare stand up to him. Seriously Perez, get a life. You are clearly miserable. Maybe you should stop being so critical of people who are actually trying to get their life together instead of pointing out each time they make a mistake.
