Dollymix's Happy Hour: The Cucumber Cocktail from Yum Sugar and The New York Times
Congratulations, ladies. You have made it to Friday! We all know what a long week it's been - so if you're not trawling around Wimbledon or Glastonbury this weekend, why not stay at home and treat yourself to a fabulous new cocktail? Doesn't that sound better than sitting around in mud or clapping every-so quietly? I thought so. This week I bring you the Cucumber Cocktail from The New York Times and the good folks at YumSugar:
What you'll need:
6 limes, rinsed
1 cup packed mint leaves, no stems, plus 6 sprigs for garnish
3 unwaxed cucumbers
½ cup sugar
2 cups vodka or gin, preferably Hendrick's gin
Sparkling water.
