Apparently, one of the biggest problems facing theme park-going families is that of mother's having to stand on the sidelines holding jackets and small children whilst the rest of the family go on the rides. How to remedy this? Coat stands? Creches? No. Fake mothers.
Alton Towers has launched a ridiculous revolutionary scheme whereby you can now rent a mother figure to go on the rides with your kids. There's no word on whether they are also available to spit on a hanky to wipe ketchup from your chin or whether they'll tell you off for not being kind to your siblings, but you can but hope.
