Entertainment Weekly has announced it's list of the 25 funniest people in America, and I'm happy to report that there are actual women on the list. Real. Live. Women.
However, what bugged me is that only six of the ten women named on the list appear to be funny without the help of men. A lot of the women appear as the Token Vagina in a Male Posse, like Samantha Bee as part of The Daily Show group and Leslie Mann as part of her husband Judd Apatow's Posse. Or, like Amy Sedaris and Amy Poehler, they were simply named as being half of a duo. How annoying is that? However, my four most favorite women in the entire Celebrity Universe were on the list, so that was sort of exciting.
