Advertisements from Singapore depict similarities between emotional abuse and physical violence
Saatchi Singapore have released these new, very liberal ads to raise awareness around domestic abuse. The photos are disturbing, and remind me of something you would expect to see in The Ring or The Grudge, however, despite their supernatural, frightening nature, they are actually very affect.
Domestic abuse isn't just about physical violence, it's about emotional abuse as well. Just because words cannot cut the skin doesn't mean that they're not equally as degrading, painful, and as hard to recover from.
