When Katie met Tim Ferriss, author of the Four Hour Work Week

timferrisskatielee.jpgI've been going on about Tim Ferriss, author of the wondrous "Four Hour Work Week" book , in Shiny Towers for so long that all the shiny writers are ready to throttle me. So when I got the chance to actually meet the great man in person, how could I refuse? And, more to the point, how could I prevent myself from stealing him and taking him home with me to be with me always?

Somehow, I resisted. And, since I'm the consummate professional, I even managed to curb my enthusiasm for long enough to produce a fairly coherent video interview. Check it out below. And if you haven't read his book yet, it's now out in the UK.

Check out the video after the turn! It's good, you'll like it.

Thanks to Tim for letting us steal so much of his time (sadly, he couldn't outsource the interview - I'd have noticed).

Oh, and apologies for the technical glitch. I won't bore you with the excuses.

4 hour work week. Don't give staff any ideas. If I start seeing women's issues pieces from Mumbai I'll get suspicious

Erm, is there something going on that we should know about? You are wearing different tops in the photo and the video... good job the background doesn't seem to be a hotel room!

Hey - do you know these two? http://caliandjody.com/blog/
Good stuff too.

Buy a decent mic!

Huh? @Vanessa it's the same top! Cheeky.

Will check out the blog, thanks.

Sorry about the sound @Andrew. It was a last minute decision to film it (hence the technical hitches.) I can hear it fine on my computer, but I'm sorry if you can't!
