So far we've learned this week that you shouldn't say anything if your best friend is dating a dick, that short boyfriends are oh-so-hot right now, and now Grazia is informing us that "Arm Indie" is the latest accessory. Yes. Arm Indie. What is Arm Indie? Why, an Indie dude that hangs on you arm, of course. (Think of it as the less hygienic, male version of the Trophy Wife. Or better yet, the paler version of Arm Candy that has a "great personality".)
Apparently the "original Arm Indie" was Kirsten Dunst's ex boyfriend Johnny Borrell, and now we should be looking up to the likes of Kate Moss, Agyness Deyn and Alexa Chung as they have some of the *hottest* Arm Inidie around: Jamie Hince, Josh Hubbar and Alex Turner. (Not that I know, or care who any of those men are.)
These tragically unkempt (un-bathed) and unhealthily pale men are usually in painfully hip bands and for some strange reason are very popular with the A-list, size zero ladies that grace the covers and front pages of Heat, Vogue and The Sun on a regular basis. From what I can tell the only thing these couples have in common is an irrational hatred of eating and sunlight, but hey, Grazia says it's the hip thing to do, so, as they say, "So blag on to your nearest guest list and get them before they go!"
