Women's "Ishoos"

Re: Fwd: Warning from Police - women are forwarding round terrifying and false crime warnings to their innocent friends and family

Just got sent this, and I thought it only right to share with you guys. Make sure you send it to all your female friends to warn them about the dangers of believing crime email forwards.

Hi guys, please pass this along to all the women you know

The other day I was forwarded a crime warning email by a friend I consider to be quite sane and rational. She was living a perfectly normal life, and then someone sent her this email warning her about the dangers of smelling perfume offered by strangers or getting back into your car at petrol stations after filling up with fuel.

Suddenly a strange sensation overcame her and she found herself hitting the forward button and filling in the names of every single female she'd ever met. She didn't even think to confirm that the story was actually yet another hoax designed to fool women into forwarding a chain letter.

There's no explanation for her behaviour other than the fact that she must have been overpowered by some unspecified chemical by someone taking part in a gang initiation, so please be extra vigilant, especially if you're often easily tempted to hit the forward button.

Here's what to do if you get an email warning you about a crime in your area:

  1. 1. Do not hit the forward button
  2. 2. Go straight to www.snopes.com and run a search for the story.
  3. 3. Once you've verified that the email is a load of old bollocks, go back to living your life without fear.
  4. 4. Delete email - or better still, reply to all and send them the link about why the story is a load of old bollocks. They will think you're a smart arse, but at least you will have helped to stop other innocent women from being overpowered with the urge to hit the forward button.
Note: these rules also apply if you get sent an email about Microsoft offering you money to forward emails, if you get sent an email appeal about a missing child, or if you get sent a photo that has clearly been photoshopped to make it look like a man was nearly eaten by a shark.

Please be careful out there and remember, if you forward this email to 5 women you know, your wish will come true.
