Our lovely pals over at Catwalk Queen have reported that Lindsay Lohan has recreated the "The Last Sitting" photo set of Marilyn Monroe. The photos were originally taken by Bert Stern, and for some crazy reason, he agreed to take the photos of LiLo. Of all of the people in Hollywood to compare to such a magnificent icon and have recreate Marilyn's photos, why the hell would you use Lindsay Lohan? I mean, she hasn't exactly been the most glamorous of stars this past year as she's been in and out of rehab, and you know, arrested and what not. Plus, what work has she done?
Sure Marilyn was a tragic, tragic idol...but Lindsay Lohan? In my opinion, being a hot mess shouldn't automatically lump you into the tragic idol category with someone like Marilyn Monroe. I hate to be all judgey wudgey, but Lohan lacks the curves and natural sensuality of Marilyn. Lindsay just looks like a too-skinny teenager wearing her grandma's wig.

Lindsay spoke of Marilyn's suicide, and noted how awful it is that all the other people in Hollywood are falling apart,
Lohan called Monroe’s suicide “tragic,” and then added, elliptically, “You know, it’s also tragic what just recently happened to someone else.” I asked whether she was referring to Heath Ledger. She nodded: “They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone.” Why some and not others, I asked, since it has often seemed that the thrice-rehabbed Lohan might meet a similar fate. Lohan replied with a flicker of annoyance: “I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”

wow. um... she's no marilyn and... what happened to the late Heath Ledger wasn't a suicide or caused by Hollywood, it was proven to be a leathal mixture of prescribed medications he was using to sleep, and for his pneumonia and back pain. it was accidental.
also, what's more disturbing not mentioned in this interview was that she had her little sister sitting in on the photo shoot! she needs to go back into rehab. She's addicted to being famous for not really doing anything important.
Well this is quite pathetic. Those wigs are just so trashy. Even I might look better than Lindsay. Monroe did actually have beauty, but she was was weak and ended up just being a loser. If Lindsay wanted to be a star, she would stand on her own merits, if she has any. Why do women try to emulate past movie stars? You will never be like them, you can't be them, only they are themselves, and only you can be yourself. Only losers try to be something that they are not, and in the process forsake themselves.
