Have you seen the first half of Kanye West's new video for Flashing Lights? IT IS BLOWING MY MIND. Watching this from a feminist perspective, it's pretty interesting. Firstly, the chick in the video immediately starts to strip, and spends most of the video in lingerie. While I don't really see the point of her trouncing around in a thong, I was pleased that she wasn't a stick thin model. Girlfriend had junk in the trunk...literally.

I'm just wondering why she decided to kill Kanye West with a shovel?? Did he cheat on her? Buy her the wrong Valentine's Day gift? Does this fall under the "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" scenario? WHAT IS GOING ON!?! They're revealing the other half of the video tonight on BET, but I only get about four channels, and BET isn't one of them. I WONDER WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN!?!?
