Exciting news, y'all! Today the Oscar nominations were announced, and lo and behold, Diablo Cody was nominated for Best Original Screenplay, Ellen Page was nominated for Best Actress and even Juno director Jason Reitman was nominated for Best Director. And you know what else? Juno was nominated for Best Picture! What a glorious day this is!
Talk about that for girl power! What else is really cool is that Cate Blanchett is nominated for two Oscars, one for her leading role in Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and her supporting role as Bob Dylan in I'm Not There. I am so excited for everyone that I may just have a drink for you.
