Maybe it's because I'm all the way on the other side of the pond, but I've never heard of the new Tiny Fey movie Baby Mama, until now. Basically, in the movie Tina's character Kate wants to have a baby and has tried all the usual suspects to get herself knocked up to no avail. (A doctor literally tells her he doesn't like her uterus.) So, naturally, she has some nitwit become her surrogate mom, and has her move in with her. While this film sounds very much like Feminists bloggers 'round the globe will be typing up bitter rants as to why this a disgusting, hopeless film - I'm afraid I want to see it.
And I don't just want to see it so I can flame it with a seething, nasty review, but because Tina Fey is a freakin' genius and it looks really funny. Plus, Amy Poehler plays the surrogate mom. Hello! It's like an SNL/Mean Girls reunion! I know Mean Girls was a ridiculous movie, but you cannot lie to me and say you don't own the DVD and that you most certainly do not watch it on those low, rainy days.
