coca-cola.jpgX Factor loser Chico has a new song out called "Curvy Cola Bottle Body" in which he declares his love of curvy women, and denounces the "size zero" women of the catwalk world. The video for the song features women who are (apparently) a size 12 or above, and the money raised from the single will go to the eating disorder charity, Beat. Watching the video, I rolled my eyes a bit because the girls in the video didn't seem all that curvy to me, and it felt a bit cheesy. However, his heart is in the right place, and what other male celebrities are standing up for women's health?

As to why he wrote the song, Chico said that, "It was the horror of eight and nine-year-olds fighting over being a size zero. My niece is that age and I thought she must be thinking the same. The Kate Moss look does absolutely nothing for me. I cannot understand what all the fuss is about. Give me J-Lo over Kate Moss any day. I think 90 per cent of guys would agree." Bless his heart. While I don't think bashing skinny girls is the way to get women to love their bodies, his intentions are good and true. (Despite the song being crap.)
