Slightly getting side-tracked this week, today's Women & Words is delving into breast cancer and blogging to get you involved in Breast Cancer Awareness Month...
This is the on time of year where I want the media to focus on women's breast, make them top news items, and discuss their wonder and beauty: why? October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and DollyMix is getting on board on spreading the word. You can start by pressing the little banner and then go read some great blogs, after the jump.
Don't know where to start or feeling overwhelmed, here are some top blogs that are going pink and making October all beating breast cancer:
The Pink for October site has a list of all bloggers who have 'gone pink'. Although not specifically about breast cancer, all the sites listed are helping spread the word.
Karen Lynch, who was interviewed by our very own Keri Stainton, writes about breast cancer, including her own battle with it, at Discussing Breast Cancer.
The annual Boobie-Thon has ended (1-8 October) but you can go check out all the participant bloggers who posted photos and personal stories about breast cancer.
Journey Through Breast Cancer is just what is says on the bottle: 32 year old woman's battle with breast cancer.
Not Just About Breast Cancer is written kids, marriage, life and breast cancer. Besides being a good read, she has some lists of other breast cancer blogs that are worth reading.
