Billie Piper graces the cover of this month's Marie Claire magazine in a men's work shirt, thigh highs and knickers. (And strangely how I imagine Belle De Jour must look after "work".) She explains to Marie Claire that while she may play a "high class hooker" on TV, she really just wants to do what any other woman wants to do: breed. Billie is rumored to be getting married to her fiance Laurence Fox this December and says, "I’m incredibly broody at the moment, which is the first time I’ve ever really felt that way. I think it’s quite nice being broody.”
Of her latest role, Billie said that there is "a lot of sex" and that some of it's "comedy sex" while other parts of it are "emotional sex". (I didn't know prostitutes had "emotional sex". Huh.) In the interview Billie is also quoted as saying, "Women love sex as much as men and that’s what’s never said.” Sorry Billie, but I think your point would come across at lot better if you weren't trying to depict women loving sex as a freakin' prostitute.
