Pressing the volume key four times in quick succession sends a pre-defined text message to five numbers assigned by you. It's not designed to be a quick way of letting your mates know you're on your way, but for those situations where you should be carrying a personal alarm. Once the text message has been received, the person can call you to assess the situation, or trace you using the in-built GPS signal. We like it.
