Apparently women can't talk about porn with out insulting each other and fighting

Nothing sparks a heated conversation amongst women like the topic of pornography. On a recent episode of The Tyra Banks Show, (ya know, the one where Violet Blue was kicked off early) a focus group of women sat down and talked about pornography. I'm sorry, did I say "talk"? I meant bitch at each other. One woman insisted that if you have a problem with porn you're "hung-up", while the other women were convinced that porn was "disgusting".

What I thought was interesting is that they couldn't even talk about porn like mature adults, and resorted to insulting the woman they didn't agree with. My favorite moment was when one women told another that the reason she had a problem with porn was because she was "bad in bed".

Really? Well I never knew that, I just figured they made that dodgy shit for no-one in particular, hoping that someone would stumble upon it and be heartily disinterested by it all. (Are you by any chance from Manchester, UK?)

There's a ton of dodgy crap out there, I personally may or may not like it but people being titillated by the exploitation of others doesn't make something right it just makes it all seem so wrong.

That "dodgy stuff" is just the stuff that doesn't interest you. For someone else it's just what they're looking for, male or female.

A straight guy watching gay fisting porn will freak-out..... However that doesn't mean that gay fisting is disgusting or in any way depraved to those who enjoy it.

Sexuality in the US is quite repressed in the mainstream. Even among adult entertainment producers believe it or not.

Remember a thread on a major adult industry BBS that showed a naked woman walking down a main street in some euro town with people around etc. The US webmasters went ballistic about how wrong it was to expose kids to this, the euro webmasters just couldn't understand what the problem was.... To them there was nothing evil about the human body and no need to hide the naked human body from children (in this situation). To the US it was a mortal sin that would see the whole industry go to hell.

Wow, only the porn star came across as a reasonable and intelligient woman the rest (even the pro porn) were just plain crazy. I'm pro porn and enjoy it but I have to admit there is some dodgy shit out there that gives it all a bad name, I haven't got the answers or any solutions as to what to do other than stick with the female made stuff as it seems to be (I don't know what goes on behind the scenes) non exploitative.
