Vanity Sizing? I knew it!

MAGAZINE_Vanity_Siz_209808a.jpg
Anyone else read the article in The Times about vanity sizing? Lack of consistency in women's clothing sizes is slightly old news but what got me in this article was the quotes from those inside the fashion industry about making women think they are a smaller size to increase spending.

My first reaction was "Wow, that's low. Do you really need women to spend more money on your junk that badly?". My second reaction was "Crap, I completely fell for it because I can list three stores I hate shopping at because I don't fit into my 'regular' size. I am a sucker."

I had no idea that Brix (formerly of the Fall) had a clothes shop now. I have a feeling I may have been living in a cave to have missed this.

This style is my most favorable one. Why not just try to be more slim to wear these cloths. A few days ago I met a woman from sugarmommymeet.com. She said she didn't care about this question. She has many creative ideas. No matter which size she got, she could change it to her size!!!
