I know trying to find a good bra that fits is a pain in the ass, but having an internal bra surgically put in my body that will hang off my ribs just doesn't sound like a great idea. The MIM technique (Minimally Invasive Mastopexy) have created an internal bra called the Cup&Up. MIM CEO Adi Cohen explains that, "What we've done is build a silicon bra, insert it into the body and attach it to the ribs and to the fascia. It's like a normal external bra where a strip lies on the shoulder and attaches around the body. We attach it to the ribs instead of to the shoulder, and to the fascia in the lower part of the body."
Dr. Eyal Gur, head of microsurgery at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital, thinks this is an awesome idea considering the internal bra is made of things used in medicine like silicon, threads and very small anchoring screws. I know it sounds scary, but apparently it's "minimally invasive", plus, it's been tested pigs in Israel! Cohen also promises that at a recent dinner party when he spoke of the Cup&Up, "All the women said, 'I want to be the first one!' It was like a fire in the fields! Everyone was very enthusiastic about the idea!"
What about you? Are you "enthusiastic" about this idea? Yay or Nay?
