479986420_1f0b3221a5.jpgI tend to stay away from all the of anti-feminism blogs out there, but today, I caved. I spent a fair a bit of time looking at a Christian blog for women who are against feminism. Every link I went to was just filled the "intelligent" and "logical" ramblings of God-fearing women who's ideas of feminism are about as informed and coherent as most misogynists. They pull quotes from the most radical, man-hating, housewife-loathing feminists they could find and use it as "proof" that feminism is what's wrong with the world, and that it's "isn't the answer".

My favorite entry that I found would be from the "Making Home" blogger, Jess, who wrote a post called "Society vs. The Biological Clock (aka "God's Design")". Jess explains that feminism fed us all the "big fat lie" of "you can have it all", and she shows us, step by step, movement by movement, how feminism has effed everything to heck, gosh darnnit!

Apparently it all started with "public education movement" which "removed from women the career of being an educator and mentor for their children", which then caused the "birth control movement" that, naturally, caused women to sleep around "without consequence".

The next "logical" step, Jess explains, is the "abortion movement", which, as we know, is The Devil and "the easy way out". It all goes downhill from there, and between everyone trying to "have it all" by sleeping around, having abortions once a week and "achieving their dreams" by going to Grad school or having a successful career (which doesn't allow "the average person to also successfully pursue and have a marriage or family of any kind") this then results in unhappy, 40-year-old couples who want babies and are too old to have them. And what could possibly be worse than that?

Oh man. Did that all make you laugh? It made me laugh. I almost peed a little I was laughing so hard. The kicker? Jess' side note of: "**Note how each step progressively brought the woman's heart farther away from the home, her husband, and her children, and focused it more and more on herself!**" Yeah! You selfish bitch!

Cate Sevilla is the Editor of Dollymix. She's currently on birth control (because of the birth control movement) she has sex for pleasure (because of the sexual revolution) and has had 34 abortions (because of that gosh darn abortion movement). She's selfish. She's hates homemakers, men, and anything traditionally feminine. Basically, she's just your typical feminist, right?
