This weeks funny woman is Lucy Porter. The thirty-four year old stand up comedian is currently preparing for the Edinburgh Fringe festival where she will be performing.
Porter was interviewed in the Sunday Times Style magazine on 5th August. "The most heartbreaking thing about being a woman is remembering how miserable you felt about your looks as a teenager. After a certain age, you realise it's a waste of effort and that you're valued for things other than how you look."
