Celebrated British comedian Jennifer Saunders is this weeks Funny Woman. Best known for her double act performances with fellow female comedian Dawn French, she rose to fame in the eighties first beginning in a show called Girls on Top before writing and starring in long running show French and Saunders.
Saunders is also well known for her part in Absolutely Fabulous. This series, which began in 1992, was created and written by Saunder and was based upon a previous sketch called Modern Mother and Daughter. There were 5 series of Absolutely Fabulous which Saunders starred in alongside Joanna Lumley.
