I have been a bit disgusted by Liz Jones ever since read her disgustingly self indulgent book Liz Jones's Diary: How one single girl got married. For many, many reasons which I don't really care to go into, Liz Jones has some a lot a ton of issues, and seems to reveal in them, rather than actually taking care of them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I gather she's had a long running column in The Daily Mail, speaking quite frankly of her marital problems, ya know, like her husband's many, many affairs, and the fact that he's a freeloader. It would have seemed that things were looking up for Liz, as she declared that she was "finally, finally, finally" divorcing her husband. However, it would appear that that may not be the case.
In his column in Grazia magazine (*snickers*) Nirpal has apparently revealed that he and Liz are seeing each other again, and that they've been hanging out and cuddling: "We spent the next few days and nights together and spoke a lot about our relationship." Does anyone else not care? Does anyone else wish they would just go away? And yeah, I realize I'm not helping much by writing about it, but I have to say that it worries me that people are trying to pass Liz off as an icon for women, and someone we should care about. Some book stores even shelve her book in the Self Help section! (Which enraged me so much I wrote a letter to a certain bookstore, expressing how scared I am for any woman who reads that book in search of HELP.)
Liz. Nirpal. Do us all a favor and keep your disgusting, incredibly unhealthy lives and relationship out of our newspapers, bookstores, and magazines, and in a psychiatrist's office where it belongs.
