This isn't an actual tour per se, but you can view all the art from the Washington Post's written art tour in Washington itself. They define 'feminist art' as works that present a female perspective by offering alternatives to stereotypes, challenging gender inequities or simply by putting issues of gender and power into play. This self portrait of Alice Neel certainly falls into that category. It successfully turns the obsession with the naked female body on its head, by showing her 80-year-old form in all its saggy, lumpy glory, but managing to still be extremely aesthetically pleasing. In my mind, this picture is way more beautiful than Jodie Marsh with her baps out will ever be.
