This weeks funny woman is American comedian Chelsea Handler. As well as having two television shows in the US, she has also written an amusing, and slightly controversial book entitled, "My Horizontal Life". The publisher describes the book as, "A raucous and hilarious memoir of one woman's one-night stands". Her approach to her femininity and sexuality is entertaining and refreshing. She's more ballsy than any of the Sex and the City girls but still surprisingly feminine.
Last night her new series, Chelsea Lately, premiered on E!, described as "a deliciously irreverent hour long late-night series". The new series sees is bound to be just as entertaining as her last, as we see her discussing popular culture and entertainment.
Handler was born in New Jersey and is the youngest of six, as well as filming television series she is also a well established stand up comedian.
