Buffy The Vampire Slayer is back! But not in the way that I, and I'm sure many other fans of the TV show would have hoped: Buffy is now going to be a comic book. I know there are heaps of people and women who like comic books, but I just can't do it. Apparently, Joss Whedon hasn't even told Sarah Michelle Gellar about the project yet, as he says, "I can tell you now what everyone's reaction would be: 'My nose doesn't look like that!'" Joss also said that turning Buffy into a comic book is giving him more creative freedom, "Our show was never terribly expensive. There was just a limit on where our imaginations could go." For example, he's even thinking of turning Buffy's sister Dawn into 50ft giant!
The comic books will pick up where the TV series left off, however, all I care about is Buffy and Angel getting back together. I still have hope.
