From defending Kate Jackson from the Long Blondes so that even I get a soft spot for her, to proclaiming her love of charity shops and dispatching writers to do a review of the MoonCup, it's not hard to see why I love Miss Amp. As well as running her own website (which has a dedicated section for "sleaze") she writes about music for Plan B magazine, as well as freelancing for a number of other publications.
Miss Amp loves women. Jiggling, messy, confident and always having fun; she interviews über ladies like Cat Power and Kevin Blechdom who make you glad to be a woman. In short, she is the opposite of the Galaxy Bar stereotype of women that would have us believe we're all pining for romance, obsessed with chocolate and could give a damn about what anyone thinks about our hips.
