The Glastonbury festival isn't actually in Glastonbury, oh no, it is in Pilton - which is probably 10 minutes drive from Glastonbury itself. That's why, round these parts, we call it simply "Pilton", as in "are you going to Pilton this year?". Anyhow, the Glastonbury womens' retreat is in Glastonbury, and is a place to go if you can't stand to see the sight of another man or child - as neither are allowed in. Feminist lectures aren't included, but knowing Glastonbury, you won't have to go far to find one. Accommodation is in what was once a chapel, perfect for contemplating your man/child hating and preparing yourself to come face to face with them once again.
Prices start at £30 per person, per night, including breakfast, a purposely absent television and a large garden. There is broadband access, though, so you can still get your daily fix of Dollymix.
