So, the Big Brother *fun* has started. The rumours were correct, and we do have a house of girls. Their 15 minutes of fame has already started ticking away as gracing the cover of The Metro today is Big Brother's first set of twins, Sam and Amanda, who love pink, each other, and -apparently- fun and jazzy hair clips. The Metro also has extensive coverage of which women are flashing what body parts, just in case you're interested. Not to be out-classed, The Sun have lovingly dubbed the house "Beauties and the Beasts"; the beasts meaning the women of the house who are either "old", sans make-up, or weigh over 110lbs.
Channel 4 claim that they're hoping for a "fun, light-hearted series", and really, nothing says "light-hearted" like a house full of girls...and one boy. Apparently tonight the women will pick one "hunk" out of a choice of three to join the house, and I can only imagine what "light-hearted fun" will come of that. Personally, I'm hoping that he's gay, but I doubt that will happen. I could go on and on about the stereotypes they've placed in the house, and the irritating headlines they're causing, but then this would turn into a zillion word novel, and who wants that?
