Yay Or Nay Wednesday

Rosie O'Donnell's mouth has been making headlines, once again. Many people have their own opinions on the British hostage crisis in Iran, however, Rosie's views seem to be one of the most controversial, especially considering her extremely liberal opinions are being broadcast on a daytime talk show on ABC.

More conservative TV journalists, such as the notorious Bill O'Reilly, seem to think ABC is out of line by allowing Rosie to voice her potentially offensive opinions without consequence. Rosie has even recently said that 9/11 was a set up and that the hostage situation in Iran is comparable to the Gulf Of Tonkin incident.

What do y'all think?

Do you think Yay, and that Rosie has the right to say whatever she wants?

Or do you think Nay , and that we should screw The View and stop watching until Rosie's given a muzzle?

Yay Or Nay Wednesday - Comments

  • Thanks for posting that, Cate, I thought it was a fascinating discussion.

As for the Yay or Nay, well, of course Rosie has the right to say whatever she wants. The View is all about the personal opinions of the individuals and if you don't agree with those opinions, then by all means stop watching.

As for muzzling Rosie - what happened to free speech? I certainly don't agree with everything she says, but I defend her right to say it.

I was actually more offended by Joy Behar pretending to be unable to pronounce Ahmadinejad's name.
