Jessica Valenti is a feminist. She's a writer and founder of the fabulous blog Feministing.com, and has now written a book called Full Frontal Feminism: A Young Woman's Guide to Why Feminism Matters. In an article for The Guardian, Valenti gives a blunt run-down of why being a feminist is better, plain and simple. She covers everything from body image, to politics, to pay wages, to -of course- sex: "Feminists do it better. Sorry, we just do."
I'm curious, what does everyone think about this?
Is it "Yay", she's brilliant and absolutely correct. (And I've got crazy mad feminist sex skills.)
Or "Nay", she's got it all wrong, and feminism is not "necessary for women to live happy, fulfilled lives." (Or have better sex.)
