Fussy is written by the incredibly fabulous Eden Mariott Kennedy (aka Mrs.Kennedy), and if you're not reading it, you should. I meant it. (Just do it!) Fussy is one of those blogs that I could eat with a spoon. It's witty, and heart-warming, and just plain honest. Free of all blog-bullshit, if you know what I mean. Whether she writes about her son and husband, bulldog Cookie, or is posting videos of her tortoise Peanut flinging itself down the stairs, I just love her.
At the moment, my favorite post on Fussy is "In which I am undone by the neighborhood Princess", where the neighborhood Princess, Jasmine, has borrowed her son's bunny named Easter, and refuses to bring it back. It's so funny, I recommend peeing before hand.
"...A week later I saw Jasmine out on the grass while I was walking Cookie. I walked up to Jasmine and, curbing my impulse to push her into a bush, I politely but straightforwardly asked her if she'd please bring Easter back. She looked away mildly and said she'd do it soon. I didn't like 'soon,' but I let it go.
No Easter. So, yesterday morning I saw her on the playground with another neighbor girl and, because I'm a fucking creepy psycho stalker, I took Cookie with me again (nothing says 'weak!' like using a bulldog for emotional support when you confront a ten-year-old girl) and I said, 'Jasmine, would you bring back Jackson's bunny today please?' She didn't even look up from whatever she was doing, coloring or some shit. She just said, 'Probably.'"
Fussy also sells magical boob enhancing T-shirts that say "Writing well is the best revenge". If that's not one of the best T-shirt slogans ever, than I don't know what is.
