This week the lovely Dollymixers tell us...
If you could play any part, in any film, which would you choose?
Answers:
Katherine Hannaford:
Duke Raoul in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which Johnny Depp played. How mad would it be playing a completely eccentric drug-addled journalist in Las Vegas! I even have the photo to match!
Kate Walker:
Claudia in Interview with the Vampire. That part should have been mine - I had the angelic blonde ringlets, and wouldn't have whined about having to snog Brad Pitt when he was at his hottest.
Gemma Cartwright:
Lorelei Lee in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Why? Have you seen the costumes?
Keris Stainton:
Karen Sisco in Out of Sight. For the scene in the boot of the car with George Clooney.
Katie Lee:
It's GOT to be Spider Man. Alternatively, Elizabeth Bennet (even I could have done a better job than bloody Keira *pout* Knightly).
Glenda Young:
Ginger McKenna in Casino.
Cate Sevilla:
Satine in Moulin Rouge. The songs! The corsets! The dancing! The tragedy! Ewan McGregor! I drool just thinking about it...
Diane Shipley:
Sally in When Harry Met Sally - not because of THAT scene (although I would feel rather liberated after, I'm sure!) but because she went to New York to become a gymnast.
"A journalist!"
"That's what I said."
Susi Weaser:
I’d play Michelle Pfieffer’s character in Scarface. Did you see what she looked like in those gowns?
Camilla Chafer:
Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffanys. Might as well be an icon!
Linda Jones:
Free Willy. I love the sea.
Abi Silvester:
It was my dream as a kid to play little orphan Annie. So if I could travel back in time to being 8, that's the part I'd most like to play.
Kim Foster:
Jo Marsh (aka Winona Ryder) from Little Women. The girl cuts off her hair to because she's too proud to beg for money - can't knock that!
